Sunday Mornings

Nursery & Early Childhood

Main Level of the Education Center
9:15 and 10:45 a.m.

We believe that by loving, holding, feeding, changing and praying for these little ones, we are providing them not only a safe environment, but their first impressions of a loving Heavenly Father. We want the Nursery to be a place where you feel confident leaving your children, knowing they are cared for and loved.

Our Nursery offers two areas for infants:

• Newborns (infant to approximately 9 months*)
• Nursery (9 months to approximately 2 years*) * When a child is confidently crawling or walking, he or she may move to the next area.

Early Childhood

Preschool is where children are introduced to God's Word and first start to learn Bible truths. As our little ones learn the basics of faith, they begin to understand that God made them and everything else wonderful in this world and they can trust Him.

Each teaching session begins with activities to help the children feel welcome and comfortable. The lessons are full of objects to touch, crafts they will love getting into, and wild and wiggly activities to get them moving. Children will find the routine and expectations easy to follow.

Kindergarten - 6^th Grade

The Dock

Open 9:00-9:30 a.m. & 10:30-11:00 a.m.

As children arrive, they are welcomed at the Hide Away Bay check-in station. Children then gather with friends at The Dock for games, activities and snacks. When they hear the foghorn, they will make their way to Sunday School ("The Cove") or to Kid's Worship ("The Wave").

The Cove

9:15 a.m.-10:45 a.m.

Children will gather with others their age in graded classrooms to discover the truths of God's Word. They will do more than hear about these truths, they will also experience them in a variety of ways. Children will also be challenged to learn Bible verses and apply God's Word to their lives.

Catch "The Wave"

Kindergarten-5th Grade 10:45 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

The Wave combines a small group experience with a large group teaching & worship time. Children meet in small groups with other children their age, and then gather together for an upbeat worship time and Bible lesson. This large group time includes drama, storytelling and interaction with the hosts and storytellers. After the lesson, children return to their small groups for discussion, prayer and an activity related to that day's lesson.
