The women’s ministry at Cherry Hills began from a desire to prayerfully plan opportunities to meet the particular spiritual needs of the women at Cherry Hills and their friends. Although the ministry is only in the beginning stages of development, we strive to meet you where you are and help you find a place where you can meet new friends, grow in your faith, and serve out of your spiritual gifts.

The guiding scripture and prayer is Colossians 4:4, 5 "Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversations be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone."

TRENDS stands for "Teaching, Reaching, Encouraging, Nurturing, Discipling, Serving" with women in ministry.

Women's Ministry Winter Warm-Up

How about a Spiritual Warm Up? Did you miss the Esther Study by Beth Moore? Or, would you like a review since it was so good? Our team is hosting a One Day Video Conference at Cherry Hills of the Best of the Best of Esther. Please join us for great teaching on waiting, fear, and more. It will also be a great time of fun fellowship that will chase those wintery blues away. The conference is set for Saturday, February 27th from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Sign up is needed at the Ministry Center on Sundays February 14th & 21st. The cost is $10. and includes snacks, lunch, and surprises. ($15. after Feb. 21st). Call your girlfriends and plan to attend.

Beth Moore (via Satellite) Conference At Calvary Temple Christian Center

Calvary Temple is hosting this one day conference based on Beth's newest book, "So Long, Insecurities" Saturday, April 24th, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Who doesn't struggle with insecurities? If we give into them they can get a hold on our lives and keep us from serving the Lord to the fullest and living life to the fullest. Beth will dive into God's Word to challenge us as women to learn how to conquer fear and doubt and discover the liberating confidence and security that can only be found in Christ. Tickets are available from the church office at Calvary Temple. Cost is $30 (includes lunch) through April 17th ($35 after April 17th).

Friday Morning Bible Study

We are starting a new study on Timothy Keller's book, "The Prodigal God" beginning March 5th. We meet from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Cherry Hills. This is a six-week study that focuses on the parable of the Prodigal Son. If you would like to join us, please contact Terri Woolbright (793-1322 or t.woolbright@comcast.net) by Friday, February 19th. The cost is around $25 for the two books and the video. Please prayerfully consider joining us.
