Our purpose is to glorify God through use of the arts

We desire as a community to express our hearts of love, adoration and praise to Jesus, the author and perfector of our faith. While recognizing that true worship encompasses every aspect of our lives, the Worship ministry seeks to creatively provide venues, particularly through music and the arts, by which we as a community can express our hearts of love for Jesus.

A worship service is, at its core, a celebration. It is a time when we come into God’s presence and praise Him. Praising God comes in many forms. At Cherry Hills, we take this to heart. We provide many opportunities for people of all ages to experience and celebrate God and a life of faith. Each service is unique, yet all are filled with music and teaching, joy and insight.

People have many different ways of engaging with God. Because people connect in different ways, many creative elements are used in services in an effort to touch someone with God’s Truth.

Our primary focus is on making 8 a.m., 9:15 a.m., and 10:45 a.m. worship services the best they can be, 52 Sunday mornings per year.

Several planning and practice teams meet weekly to prepare for Sunday morning worship, including the Creative Planning team, the Worship Choir which meets for worship and practice Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.; the Praise Teams, and the Technical Team. Cherry Hills' worship also incorporates the creativity of our Drama Team, Dance Team, Jesus' Hands, Visual Arts, Flute Choir, Children's Choir, Men's Chorus, and Men's Quartet, which prepare as needed for specific services.
