In-Person Worship

General Reminders:

To ensure the safety of all involved, we have implemented the following safety procedures:

  • Please arrive about 10 minutes early to allow sufficient time to find your seats and check in your children if you are utilizing Children’s Ministry.
  • Masks are required and must cover your nose and mouth at all times while inside the building for everyone over 2 years of age (IDPH).
  • We won’t be serving coffee and ask you NOT to bring your own coffee as we will be wearing masks at all times in the building.  Fuel up before you come.
  • For those who plan to give on Sunday, we encourage online giving by texting “cherry” to 73256 or going to www.cherryhillsfamily.org.  There will also be offering boxes in the back of the worship center for those who prefer not to give online.

 What to Expect:

  • Please make your way to the main entrance of the church building.
  • Before entering the building, we will ensure that you have a mask. If you do not have a mask we will provide you with one to use while you are inside the building.
  • Upon entering the worship center you can choose to sit anywhere you like.
  • Once you find your seat, we ask that you leave 1 empty seat between family groups who share a row.

Please note: In the event that we reach capacity in the worship center, we have overflow seating in Rooms 201-204 down the hall.

We are excited to see you this Sunday!

Good Friday, April 2, 2021
Good Friday, April 2, 2021

On Good Friday, April 2nd we’ll gather at 5 & 7pm in the worship center. We will gather for a Tenebrae service to remember and reflect on what Jesus has done for us.  The word Tenebrae simply means “shadows” or “darkness” in Latin. We will hear the passion story retold as we move from light to dark in the room. The service will end with communion in silence.

Parents: Childcare is available for ages birth through Kindergarten for both services, and pre-registration is required. Good Friday is one of three special services we look forward to every year where we gather as families, but we want to make you aware that this service will be like the Good Friday services we’ve done the past few years. The service will have a somber tone, the room will gradually get darker, and we will ask people to enter and exit in silence.  This can be a meaningful spiritual experience for families, but you might find it helpful to talk with and prepare your child for this unique service in advance.
