emerging adults
life together

Maturing is about the journey from struggling to get our lives together toward struggling to give our lives away. We never stop struggling, but we become proficient at some of the basics of “adulting” over time and increasingly are able to shift our vision toward the life of love found in God. Emerging adults is a formative community of 20-somethings sharing that journey together.

The emerging adults group (ages 18–29) meets weekly either at the church or in homes. We try to be intentional in practicing hospitality, building community, and deepening life with God. Beyond weekly gatherings where we read scripture and discuss what God’s doing in our lives, we meet regularly for Sunday lunches, pickleball, game nights, and lots of other ways to connect.

The group is peer led most of the year, and during life group cycles older adult mentors open their homes to host and lead the group. To learn more and get plugged in email luke@cherryhillsfamily.org.
