We’ve all got questions. Why are there abnormally long lifespans in Genesis? How should Christians think about DEI in the workplace? Does prayer change God’s plans? It’s hard to know where to find trustworthy answers in a pluralistic and polarized world. Most of us, intentionally or not, are formed by social media influencers, YouTube algorithms, AI “wisdom”, and countless other media throughout the week to shape our thinking on the questions that confront us. Discipleship is a 24/7 process—we are always being formed, for better or worse. That’s why we need formation that (1) meets us in the digital world, (2) addresses directly the questions that arise in our own cultural context, and (3) comes from sources that have earned our trust.
That’s why The Midweek exists: Church leaders dialoguing about relevant questions generated in our own community from a Biblical perspective, in a format that’s accessible for our generation.
