favorite book or verse of the bible: John Chapter 1 is one of the most rich and unique reflections on the person of Jesus. Other favorite text is just what Jesus repeatedly proclaimed: the kingdom of God is at hand.
on a day off, i am most likely to be...: reading, riding a bike, streaming tv+movies, and if I’m lucky I’m hiking somewhere beautiful
favorite book/tv show/magazine: Anything by James KA Smith, Eugene Peterson, or Henri Nouwen. The Office is just incredible
favorite local restaurant: Long Nine Junction
what do you love about your job? My students humble and inspire me, and I want older people to see what I see in them. I also love developing leaders, writing helpful teaching, and challenging students. The best ministry happens in the silent space after a good question.

what do you love about your job? I love getting to help make the bigger picture in student ministry a reality. Being involved in the small (and big!) details of our minstry and its events is so fun for me. I love our students, and getting to be involved in the work that God is doing in their lives through our ministry and outside our walls is a privilege.

what do you love about your job? I have fun "playing" restaurant alongside a great group of volunteers. I love the joyful noise of a cafe full of students enjoying food and fellowship. I love the challenge of learning each student's name and the smile I get when I get it right! Most of all, I love that God trusted me with this position and called me to it.
